When I was designing this piece I had multiple meanings in mind; that feeling that niggles away at you that wants for a better life/reality, the way technology has provided so many with new opportunities to evolve their lives, as well as technology simultaneously having a detrimental impact on modern society…OR, I just wanted to design something that looked cool.
I’m so excited to see how these shades settle down once healed!
This piece features an open doorway which is sunken into the sand dunes. There is also a digital computer mouse anticipating a click on the Escape key from a keyboard which is within the doorway.
